Appreciation

Today is all about appreciation for nature and for the community of nature journalers around us. Beauty and wonder can be found close to home, wherever we are in the world. Let’s look at our nearby nature with new eyes, remembering to appreciate the simple things.

DAY 2

Sharing

Sharing is the foundation on which International Nature Journaling Week was built. We are here together this week to exchange ideas and inspiration, learn about nature in other places and share the joy of connecting with our own nearby nature.

Day 3

Creativity

Today we are focusing on creativity. We will spend time practicing things we may not have tried before, letting our nature journals be a place to play with new techniques, new media and new ways of making marks in response to nature.

Day 4

Inspiration

Let’s focus on the things that inspire us to pick up a pen and go outside to nature journal. Today we will identify our inspirations, the things that motivate us to keep coming back to this practice again and again. We will tap into our ‘why’ to understand and strengthen it.

Confidence

Finding confidence is important. Letting go of anything that gets in the way of connecting with nature helps us enjoy the process of nature journaling.

Celebration

Today is a special day to celebrate everything that we have learned and shared this week! We will talk about ways to connect with and celebrate nature throughout the year and how taking the time to celebrate our achievements can help us stay motivated.
